I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint in a loose, fluid, and colorful manner. My subjects range from figurative to floral, landscape to still life, and commissions in between. I studied art at the University of Tennessee and have continued the learning process through a variety of workshops from professional artists across the U
I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint in a loose, fluid, and colorful manner. My subjects range from figurative to floral, landscape to still life, and commissions in between. I studied art at the University of Tennessee and have continued the learning process through a variety of workshops from professional artists across the United States. My desire is to excite you with my art and leave something of remembrance when I am gone.

My Background
Having been trained initially in oil, I changed to acrylics due to the flexibility they afford me. At times I experiment with collage, charcoal, and pastels, but always return to acrylics. I paint primarily on canvas but find 300G watercolor paper to be a nice alternative. I put on a final coat of varnish to enhance the colors and protect the art.
